and who's got what.

How unpleasing is it that we

constantly talk

about our possessions.

Our aesthetic.

So what

and

who cares.

It's simply

decoration.

We need more stories

that share those great moments

of inspiration, vulnerability

rejection and doubt.

with the outcome of success.

I find that part of

the creative process

the most genius.

Authentic

Fragile.

Far more

illustrative than
the material things we

surround ourselves with.

I love this story,

and another that I'll re-tell that my younger brother

shared with me last year that has stuck:

A group of young men were on a long & enduring hike through mountains to get to their camp sight by sunset. There were several younger boys, and several older. After many miles with heavy backpacks, a boy with special needs threw himself down on a rock bitterly and told the group that he gave up and was going no further, because he was exhausted. An adult who knew this boys love for The Lord of the Rings removed his gold wedding ring from his ring finger and handed it to the boy and told him that he was Frodo, and that he needed to return the ring to Mordor. The boy agreed to continue, and did so with much enthusiasm and vigor. They made it to the camp sight ahead of schedule, and the entire way up the boy continued to pep the rest of the group up by dreaming big.

So, tell me about a dear one who worked hard to earn something they deserved.

Make my heart swell by telling me someone elses triumph. I want to hear.

Celebrations, love, beauty.

A few sentences is all.
